Volunteer ‘blitz’ events make an impact on communities

All over the U.S., Wells Fargo volunteers identify local needs and then come together in a big way to make a lasting impact.

Volunteering is an important way that Wells Fargo team members support their many neighborhoods. And although it typically involves individuals and business groups, entire communities have been activated as well.

Three examples of these communitywide volunteer events:

  • In Philadelphia, team members came together to help revitalize two schools, an early learning center, and a community center.
  • In Salt Lake City, Wells Fargo volunteers worked to protect and restore the Jordan River.
  • In Charlotte, N.C., team members brought friends and family along to serve a variety of nonprofits, such as the Humane Society and a Ronald McDonald house.
